He served as its Secretary and Legal Adviser for so many years and in that capacity, he was part of the Enterprise Ireland trade delegation to Lagos, Nigeria in November 2013 which led to the establishment of many bilateral trade and commercial joint ventures between Nigerian and Irish Companies and Universities
